In my view the author unfortunately vitiates the book by making his antipathy to multiculturalism obvious from the outset. This sits oddly with an otherwise superbly objective account of the facts from multiple sources. No doubt this aspect has also affected the books readership. Nevertheless, it remains a vital source - to be updated soon, I understand (although I feel the update may contain even more ideological material, which will not help its reception).
